Choclate cake recipe



Certainly! Here's a classic chocolate cake recipe for you:

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Add eggs whites in mixing bowl and whipped it until it gets fluffy and then add egg yolks until it gets fluffy too than add milk, oil, water and vanilla extract in it. After adding all these ingredients add dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes until well combined.

  4. Mix until the batter is smooth. The batter will be thin, but that's okay.

  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The exact baking time may vary, so start checking for doneness around 25 minutes.

  7. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Chocolate Frosting:

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the butter until creamy.

  2. Sift in the cocoa powder and add the confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.

  3. Beat on low speed until combined, then increase the speed to medium-high and beat until smooth and creamy.

Assembling the Cake:

  1. Once the cakes are completely cooled, place one cake layer on a serving plate.

  2. Spread a layer of chocolate frosting over the top.

  3. Place the second cake layer on top and frost the top and sides of the entire cake.

  4. You can decorate the cake with additional chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or any other decorations you like.

  5. Slice and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate cake!

Simple Vanilla cake recipe

 

 


 

 

Ingredients

1sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature, plus more for the pans

1 1/2cups all-purpose flour, plus more for the pans

1/2 tablespoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

2/3cups sugar

2 large eggs, at room temperature

1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

2/3 cups whole milk

 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Butter one 9-inch-round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper; butter the parchment and dust the pans with flour, tapping out the excess.
  2. Whisk 1 1/2 cups flour, the baking powder and salt in a bowl until combined. Add 2 large eggs in kitchen aid mixer beat in the eggs, all at once,When it get fluffy add melted butter in it scraping down the bowl as needed. Beat in the vanilla. (The mixture may look separated at this point.) Now add flour mixture with the milk, beginning and ending with flour, until just smooth.
  3.  Add mixture in pan Bake until the cakes are lightly golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Transfer to racks and let cool 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edge of the pans and turn the cakes out onto the racks to cool completely. Remove the parchment. Trim the tops of the cakes with a long serrated knife to make them level, if desired.
